- Heavy Machinery Operation: XL associates are frequently cross-trained and certified to drive Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT). You will learn to safely operate clamp trucks (which squeeze large boxes instead of using forks), center-riders, and high-reach forklifts. All training and OSHA-compliant certification is provided on-site at no cost to you.
- Custom Prep and Palletizing: Heavy items require special care to survive transit. You will securely band and shrink-wrap oversized products onto custom pallets, ensuring fragile electronics or heavy furniture are locked down for the outbound trucks.
